Abortion kills unborn children. Period. Pro-Choice people can argue all they want about terminology, and in a way they have some valid points. I contend those points are a distraction. Abortion proponents argue about the legalities of “my body, my choice,” or about when life begins. It’s all a comforting lie of omission. Pro-Life people should quit fighting on their turf. The Bible teaches us that our battle isn’t waged against those on this earth. Our fight is in the spiritual realm, and to argue the points of Pro-Choice is fruitless. We need to argue the morality, not the law. “The sky is not blue, it’s turquoise!” To that I say, “It’s still the sky!” When a Pro-Choice advocate says, “It’s my body, so I get to choose!” To that I say, “You already chose! Give the baby a choice to do what HE (or she) wants!” Blowing up abortion clinics isn’t the way to win this war. Shaming health care providers who perform abortions is using Satan’s tactics (and he’s better at it than we could ever be). The best way to fight the war of abortion is by convincing women it’s a bad idea – immoral, unethical, and dangerous to their physical and mental health. Trying to overturn laws that permit this travesty is using the weapons and tactics of the World, not the weapons and tactics of the Spirit. One of the sins of ancient Israel was idolatry. Some of those false gods were worshiped by child sacrifice. It seems now America’s idol is Pro-Choice, and we’re sacrificing millions of children on the altar of “my body, my choice.”
