What it all boils down to is this:
1 - God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) made everything, including the rules.
2 - Humans broke the rules by eating the Forbidden Fruit, in essence telling God to go pound sand. “Now we know the difference between right and wrong.”
3 - But we don’t know the difference.
4 - When we reject that attitude and admit God is the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong, we get to hang out with Him - forever. Otherwise we won’t - ever.
